  • /2 fluid ounce dry vermouth
  • 4 fluid ounces gin
  • 2 pimento-stuffed green olives

DIRECTIONS

  1. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Pour in the vermouth, followed closely by the gin. Shake while counting to 30. Divide into 2 cocktail glasses. Garnish with 1 olive each.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1/4 cup rye whiskey
  • 2 tablespoons sweet vermouth
  • 2 dashes Angostura bitters
  • 1 maraschino cherry

  1. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice cubes. Pour in the whiskey, vermouth and bitters. Shake until frosty, about 15 seconds then strain into a Manhattan glass and garnish with a maraschino cherry.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 (46 fluid ounce) bottle tomato juice
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons celery salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ground black pepper
  • 3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons hot pepper sauce (e.g. Tabasco™)

DIRECTIONS

  1. In a large jar or bottle, combine the tomato juice, celery salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, and hot pepper sauce. Secure the lid and shake, or stir to mix until well blended. Store in the refrigerator for up to one week.

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 (6 ounce) can frozen limeade concentrate
  • 6 fluid ounces tequila
  • 2 fluid ounces triple sec
  • Salt

DIRECTIONS

  1. Fill blender with crushed ice. Pour in limeade concentrate, tequila and triple sec. Blend until smooth. Pour into glasses and serve. Rim by salt, I think you have a good tast.

5.Classic Whiskey Sour

  • 1 fluid ounce simple syrup
  • 2 fluid ounces fresh lemon juice
  • 5 fluid ounces whiskey
  • ice cubes
  • 3 maraschino cherries for garnish

DIRECTIONS

  1. Combine the simple syrup, lemon juice and whiskey in a shaker. Fill with ice. Cover and shake for about 30 seconds, until the shaker is frosty. Strain into martini glasses and garnish with a maraschino cherry. This can also be served in tumblers full of ice.

  • 1/2 lime, juiced
  • 1 sprig fresh mint, crushed
  • 1/2 cup crushed ice
  • 2 fluid ounces white rum
  • 4 fluid ounces carbonated water
  • 1 sprig fresh mint, garnish

DIRECTIONS

  1. In a highball glass, stir together the confectioners’ sugar and lime juice. Bruise the mint leaves and drop into glass. Fill glass with crushed ice and pour in rum. Pour in carbonated water to fill the glass. Garnish with a sprig of mint.

  • 2 large limes, quartered
  • 1/2 bunch mint leaves
  • 7 strawberries, quartered
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 3 cups carbonated water

DIRECTIONS

  1. Squeeze the lime quarters into a sturdy glass pitcher. Toss the juiced limes into the pitcher along with the mint, strawberries, and sugar. Crush the fruits together with a muddler to release the juices from the strawberries and the oil from the mint leaves. Stir in the club soda until the sugar has dissolved.   • 1 cup fresh orange juice
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 1/2 cups water

  1. Place first five ingredients in a saucepan; bring to a boil, stirring until sugar dissolves. Cover; remove from heat and let steep until cool. Strain. Cover and refrigerate.
